Honda Offers College Grads $500 Rebate

By Bill Jackson | Posted in Car Buying, Honda Benefits on Monday, May 23rd, 2016 at 6:10 AM

We all know how hard it was to get that coveted college diploma. After countless, caffeine-infused nights staying up to 2 a.m. rewriting that term paper for the third time, tuning out your roommate’s incredibly annoying music choices, spending an eternity in the library (Why has Google failed me?), sprinting across campus for your “Intro To Greek History” class (oh, joy), and trying to stay awake in your “Intro To Greek History” class, you accomplished an amazing milestone by graduating. Congratulations!

Put Your Life In The Fast Lane.

It’s time to get out in the world and make your mark. You just got your first job. Not glamorous or exciting, but it pays the bills. You’re still driving that used car with the air conditioning that sort of works some of the time that your parents gave you (We know it’s not much to look at, but it will get you to school and back). Uh huh. Read the rest of this entry »

Why The 2016 Honda Fit Is A Great Fit For You

By Bill Jackson | Posted in 2016 Honda Fit, 2016 Honda Line-Up, Car Buying on Tuesday, May 17th, 2016 at 9:48 PM

You’re looking for a car that does all the right things to fit perfectly into your active lifestyle. You’re on the go. All the time. Your Fitbit® life is in fast-forward, and you need a car that can keep up with your busy schedule. You’re not looking for a pricey luxury-yacht or mega-SUV. And while a hot two-door roadster would be a blast to drive, it doesn’t have the practicality you need.

You work hard for your money and want to keep as much of it as possible. So a car with great gas mileage should be high on your “must-have” list. Technology? Oh yeah, that’s a big one. You want the equivalent of a “smartphone on four wheels” so you can stay connected wherever you go. And you’re probably looking for a conveyance that just doesn’t get you from here to there and back, but something that will actually put some fun in your daily commute or trip to the mall.

Ready For Your Spontaneous Life

You live life spontaneously, and you want a car that’s ready to hit the road at a moment’s notice when the urge to text your friends and say “let’s head to the mountains this weekend” strikes you. And speaking of friends, you want a car roomy enough to haul you, plus your friends, plus your gear without feeling cramped. Read the rest of this entry »

2016 Honda Accord VS 2016 Ford Fusion. Which Is Best?

By Bill Jackson | Posted in 2016 Honda Accord, 2016 Honda Line-Up, Honda vs the Competition on Wednesday, April 6th, 2016 at 8:46 PM

The Honda Accord and the Ford Fusion are two top-selling midsize sedans that are popular with buyers because they offer a winning combination of performance, fuel economy, roominess, and the latest technology. But which of these two outstanding vehicles is best when it comes to making the right choice for you and your family?

Let’s take a closer look at both cars, pitting them against one another in a head-to-head competition to see which comes out on top.

The Accord Offers Fresh Interior & Exterior Styling

Without question, both the Accord and the Fusion are great looking cars. Both the Accord and the Fusion got a major facelift with the 2013 models. It really comes down to a matter of personal taste. The Accord is sharp looking and gets a refresh in 2016 with chrome accents, a fresh new grille with a string of glittering LED headlights on either side, sloping aluminum hood with muscular bulges, and large taillights contoured into the rear quarter panels. Christian Gulliksen of calls the Accord’s exterior “classy and well-proportioned.”

There are significant differences when you step inside the Accord compared to the Fusion. Honda claims to have engineered the new Accord “from the inside out” and it shows. The Accord uses its larger interior space (103.2 cu. in. compared to 102.8 cu. in.) better than the Fusion by a thoughtful combination of functionality blended with upscale appointments.
